Discount products supplier, 151 Products, has launched a range of sushi-themed dog treats under its pet care brand, Munch & Crunch.
The Munch & Crunch sushi range has been developed at 151 Products’ in-house lab. It consists of three different items – sushi rolls, sushi bites and sushi twisters – and is designed for retailers to stock as an on-trend alternative to other, more expensive, dog treat products, 151 Products said.
Dog sushi snacks are the latest items to be added to Munch & Crunch – 151 Products’ most extensive pet care brand. The portfolio offers a large selection of pet food and premium treats for dogs and cats.
Containing 100% whiting fish skins, the treats are a great source of Omega-3 and other essential fatty acids, according to 151 Products. The multiple benefits of the dog snacks include improved coat condition, boost to immune systems, increased bone strength and overall general care during growth and development phases, it added.
Richard Shonn, managing director of 151 Products, said: “Many animal owners look to provide the very best for their pets, and the products we supply allow them to do so at an extremely affordable price.
“We currently trade in a market where customers are counting every pound and we have noticed many consumers are switching to discounted alternatives, in a bid to make everyday savings.”
“The new sushi dog treat range enables retailers to maximise their offering to consumers and respond to their demand for discount product ranges.”
The Munch & Crunch sushi collection is offered to retailers in a 75g pack size, starting from £1.29 (RRP) each.
