Alium Partners, a leading provider of transition management talent to organisations, has appointed Olivier Marret as a partner in its London office. Alium provides clients with senior interim executives and teams, to lead on transformational projects to increase efficiency and growth rates. The firm works across a broad range of industries with companies of all sizes, from startups to multinationals.
Marret has more than 20 years’ experience in leadership roles in consumer goods. He joins Alium from Puig, the Spanish fashion and fragrance group with brands including Prada, Paco Rabanne and Jean-Paul Gaultier, where he held senior executive positions in Paris and Zurich before becoming managing director of the UK subsidiary. Marret started his career at L’Oreal in Germany after graduating from Sciences-Po in Paris and EM Lyon Business School. He is fluent in French (his mother tongue), English, German and Spanish.
Nigel Peters, managing partner of Alium Partners, said: “We are delighted that Olivier has joined Alium. He brings world class leadership experience, deep industry expertise and a track record of delivering complex transformation and integration projects. His background enables him to get to grips with client challenges and provide valuable advice quickly as he has first-hand experience of many of the issues they face. We look forward to his contribution to the growth of the business.”
Marret added: “I have watched the development of Alium over several years and am very excited to join the firm. It provides huge value to clients as it helps them get challenging strategic projects delivered, wherever they are, driving efficiency, growth and success – often within very tight deadlines. This is possible because Alium’s people truly understand clients’ situations, as they have experienced similar during their own time in industry, and because of the firm’s incredible access to senior transition talent.”
Peters adds: “We have had a very busy start to 2020. We have helped several US businesses launch in the UK, advised others on penetrating the Far East and supported a significant integration project in the Middle East. We have also helped several UK SMEs and tech innovators.”
Alium Partners is a member of Globalise, the world’s leading interim management group.
