Apricot opens new store, supported by FM Retail software

Fashion retailer Apricot is preparing to open a new store, bringing the total to 14 stores across the country. Supported by the FM Retail software solution, the store will offer the latest trends in womenswear clothing.

Womenswear retailer Apricot is due to launch its 14th store in the UK at the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield. Due to open at the end of November, it is just in time for the Christmas rush. The store will join 290 other well-known retailers in the 1.4 million square foot shopping centre.

The new store will be supported by FM Retail’s software solution. Apricot have been using FM Retail for their retail EPOS, warehouse and e-commerce management needs. The state-of-the-art EPOS provider provides superior functionality and attractive hardware POS terminals.

In keeping with the refined, minimalistic design of Apricot stores, the 2 AURES Sangos tills EPOS systems will have white screens, cash drawers and printers – resembling pieces of art at the checkout area.

All of Apricot’s 14 stores are using FM Retail hardware and software solutions, providing the benefit of one connected head office reporting system. For a business such as Apricot, this data and management information is a vital business requirement.
