BFree, one of Ireland’s most pioneering, health conscious bakery brands, has announced the launch of its new Quinoa and Chia Seed Wrap made with Teff and Flax seeds, into Tesco Ireland. The announcement comes as the brand looks to meet consumer need for healthier foods and in particular the growing demand for superfoods.
As 51% of consumers chose ‘health’ as their top priority when picking baked goods, the BFree Quinoa & Chia Seed Wrap promotes good digestion and increased energy levels. At only 105 calories a wrap, they are ideal for those who lead a vegan diet or who are simply looking for a healthy alternative.
BFree has also partnered up with Costa Coffee using the BFree Multigrain Wraps, to launch a Sweet Chilli Chicken Wrap that Coeliac’s and healthy eaters alike can enjoy on the go.
Alex Murphy, general manager for BFree, said: “We are very excited to be extending our range of BFree products into supermarkets across Ireland. We have seen a real need amongst our consumers for such products, as 67% prefer the health promoting benefits of superfoods in their diets. The Quinoa & Chia Seed Wrap, we feel, meets this need.
The partnership with Costa Coffee also enables us to give our customers who don’t have the time to make lunch a chance to enjoy a healthy and tasty, gluten free lunch on-the-go.”
The BFree Quinoa and Chia Seed Wrap will launch into Tesco Ireland with a RRP of €4.60. The Sweet Chilli Chicken on BFree Multigrain Wrap will be included in 94 Costa Coffee’s Ireland.
