BFree, one of Ireland’s most pioneering, health conscious bakery brands that offers ‘real bread’ to those with wheat and gluten intolerances, has today announced its launch into the UK market.

The new BFree Multigrain Wraps will be stocked in Asda stores across the UK, found in the ‘free from’ aisle, the wraps have an RRP of £2.80 for a pack of six.

Dairy-Free, egg-free, high in fibre, low in fat and containing only 99 calories, the BFree Multigrain Wraps are also ideal for those who lead a vegan diet or who simply want a healthier alternative to bread.

Alex Murphy, marketing manager for BFree, said: “We are really excited to be entering into the UK market and feel that the Multigrain Wraps are the best product to launch with. As consumer demand grows for wheat and gluten free products this is the ideal time for us to be reaching out to consumers and offering them a ‘real bread’ taste alternative. In recent taste tests, The Multigrain Wraps have shown they offer the same, if not better taste, than other wraps on the market.”

Since launching a little more than 12 months ago, the BFree brand has enjoyed outstanding success in Ireland and expects the UK market to be equally receptive. With 15% of the UK population believed to be wheat intolerant and 10% suffering from gluten intolerance the demand for ‘free from’ products is predicted to grow and grow.
