Greatrex: new role

The Pallasades Shopping Centre in Birmingham has recruited Warren Greatrex as operations manager.

Greatrex brings has over 15 years’ retail experience and 10 in operations and facilities management. He joins The Pallasades from the Crowngate Shopping Centre in Worcester where he was the retail liaison manager.

His remit at The Pallasades is to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for shoppers and passing traffic during the redevelopment works of the centre.

The Pallasades Shopping Centre is situated above New Street Station and receives an average footfall of over 420,000 people per week.

Greatrex said: “This is an extremely exciting time for The Pallasades and the regeneration of the centre is of great interest to a vast number of people. I am very proud to be part of the project and believe the next few years will be very rewarding.

“I will be working alongside the general manager Jonathan Cheetham to achieve my primary aim to maintain a pleasant experience for everyone who visits the centre as well as support our retailers during this time of transition.”

Cheetham said: “Warren has come on board during a key period for The Pallasades and I am looking forward to working with him to face the challenges ahead, delivering our ongoing commitment to ensure the centre becomes a prime shopping location in Birmingham.”
