Blu eCigs, in its first year on the UK market, has been awarded the 2015 Product of the Year Award in the brand-new e-cigarette category, officials announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 22 January.
To earn the title, a range of blu products were included in a survey of over 10,000 people – conducted by leading market information group TNS – where blu was voted the best electronic cigarette.
The victory marks the first time an electronic cigarette has ever won a Product of the Year title in the UK by TNS, and with 2014 seeing ‘vape’ crowned Word of the Year by Oxford Dictionaries, the win further demonstrates the huge impact e-cigs have made in the UK in recent times.
The world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation, the Product of the Year award is designed to save shoppers time and money by acting as a guide to the best innovative products on the market.
Representing blu on the category’s inaugural ballot were the Premium Kit, the Starter Kit, the Classic Tobacco Disposable and the newly-revamped Pro Kit. Featuring brand-new airflow technology added to the Clearomiser, the Pro Kit provides a clean, smooth vape and has a refined battery connection for a longer, better vape.
The blu eCigs® range of e-cigarettes has been created using industry leading technology. In appearance, the products are bold and stylish, displaying a minimalistic, sleek black design, with a bright and bold blue light at the end of the e-cigarette, which features the blu triangular logo, and glows with every draw.
