Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) specialist Boostify has launched a new ‘all-in-one’ online customer engagement platform – the first of its kind to hit the retail industry.

Founded in 2013 as a live chat service by the company’s managing director, Jonathan Thirkill, the last five years have seen him develop the technology into a fully-fledged CRO platform, which empowers organisations to track, engage and convert more website visitors than ever before into sales and revenue.

With a powerful suite of customisable tools including Social Proof, Chat and Capture – the latter of which enables businesses to send targeted, GDPR-compliant forms to customers – companies can gain an in-depth understanding of what content makes their visitors tick.

As well as the site’s granular targeting and segmentation functionality, the widgets’ dynamic nature also means that they auto-update throughout each stage of the customer journey.

The whole process is designed to equip site users with the confidence they need to continue through the sales cycle and – most importantly – feel understood and valued by a brand.

“Conversion is so important in the world of e-commerce, and there are currently no online tools on the market which integrate so many advanced, conversion-specific features into one digital offering – that’s what makes our technology unique,” explains Jonathan.

“Many companies shy away from CRO because they’re either too overwhelmed about how and where to start, or because they’re hesitant to invest time and money into processes which carry ROI uncertainty.”

Boostify’s unique selling point is that – through omitting time-heavy web development and A/B testing phases – in-house marketing teams and agencies can trial content variations and roll them out in minutes, without the need for outsourcing.

“This breaks down complex, technical barriers – which prevent businesses from creating an effective conversion strategy – and means that e-commerce challenges such as basket abandonment can be tackled with ease,” Jonathan continues.

Jonathan’s industry analysis shows a substantial shift in marketing spend towards CRO, especially as the competitiveness of traditional lead-generation methods continues to rise. Over the next 12 months, he predicts a 15% growth in the CRO market, with Boostify well positioned to capitalise on this.

Previously head of conversion at Age Partnership, Jonathan’s extensive website optimisation background saw him increase the financial firm’s conversion rate by double digits. He soon realised that the tools he developed to transform their online traffic into bottom-line revenue could support many organisations nationwide.

Offering his concluding comments on how the platform will change the retail landscape, Jonathan said: “I genuinely believe that the platform could save the average brand over 14 hours per week in time spent on split testing and offer launches, as well as revolutionise the level of interaction with its customers.

“Any retail business which is looking to increase its traffic – whilst being smart about how it hones this to generate profit and supersede conversion goals – would benefit from Boostify’s powerful dashboard.”

The CRO system is available via a monthly subscription model, including optional on-boarding, consulting and technical support.
