Budweiser has announced the launch of new limited edition packaging to celebrate its global MADE for Music platform featuring JAY Z.
As part of the packs, there’s also a new primary can design which mirrors the outer packaging and is the first time Budweiser has used a limited edition music design for its cans.
The new, music inspired packs will be available in key UK multiple retailers and convenience stores and the packaging features a design themed around music fans having great times, striking Budweiser red and white colours across the packs along with the MADE for Music logo.
Following on from the success of new pack formats for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Budweiser has also rolled out the easy-to-carry 18-pack can and six pack bottles in the MADE for Music design, which will make the shopping experience much easier for music fans and festival goers.
Additionally, the 2014 MADE for Music initiative is supported by a global campaign featuring JAY Z and running across more than 85 countries, including the UK, around the world where fans can enjoy a Budweiser. It will integrate refreshed OOH and print advertising, the MADE for Music packaging and content available on budweisermusic.com. The JAY Z TVC went live in the UK on 13 August and is in selected cinemas now.
Jennifer Anton, Budweiser UK marketing manager, said: “Music and popular culture are important passion points for our fans and, as a truly global beer brand, Budweiser is a natural fit with both of these. The music themed packs are therefore the perfect accompaniment for fans celebrating gigs and festivals and is just part of our plan to bring more music experiences to the UK through the MADE for Music platform.”
