Casper, the global sleep company, has announced its first brick-and-mortar retail partnership in the United Kingdom (UK) with John Lewis & Partners. Casper’s award-winning sleep products will now be available at 24 John Lewis locations in England, Wales, and Scotland, including the retailer’s flagship store on Oxford Street, and online at JohnLewis.com. For the first time ever, customers will be able to experience and trial Casper products in-store.
Casper introduced its outrageously comfortable mattress to the UK in 2016 in response to growing demand. The company has since become an end-to-end sleep destination with products for the entire bedroom including pillows, bedding, furniture, and connected products like the Glow bedtime light.
“We’ve seen tremendous success in the UK over the past three years, and the demand to experience our products in-person continues to grow,” said Neil Parikh, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Casper. “Partnering with John Lewis, one of the most-loved retail brands in the UK, offers customers the opportunity to experience Casper and enables us to bring better sleep to even more people.”
John Lewis will offer the original Casper mattress, pillow, and the company’s newest product — the Casper Hybrid mattress, which combines premium foam with resilient springs for luxurious comfort. The new hybrid mattress is the result of intensive R&D at Casper Labs, where a team of nearly 50 designers and engineers arededicated to creating new innovations that improve sleep.
“Casper is a really exciting new brand for us. We’re delighted to launch their sleep products, including the new Casper Hybrid mattress exclusive to John Lewis in the UK, to complement our existing ranges,” said Emily Wimborne, Beds and Bedroom Furniture Buyer, John Lewis & Partners.
Since its founding, Casper has continued to expand its product portfolio and distribution around the world. In North America, the company has opened more than 30 Casper Sleep Shops where customers can shop its full suite of products, and additionally partnered with retailers like Target and Hudson’s Bay.
