As part of a new campaign entitled Bags to School, British lifestyle brand, Cath Kidston has created and released a short film to celebrate the start of the school year; the brand’s first piece of content for a dedicated Back to School campaign. Directed by Sam Washington and produced by El Carousel, the film will be released on the Cath Kidston Facebook page and the company’s unique channels including its Homepage and Cath Kidston blog.
The film has been created to coincide with the launch of Cath Kidston’s Bags to School campaign, and features the brand’s new range of kid’s accessories and bags including fun, witty prints such as Sausage Dogs and Robots. The heart-warming film also features three of the UK’s most renowned parenting bloggers and their children including Mummy Daddy and Me,Housewife Confidential and Kat Got The Cream.
Cath Kidston’s marketing director, Sue Chidler, said: “Given the first day of school is universally considered one of the most momentous days in a child’s and parent’s life, Cath Kidston wanted to celebrate it in a special way. By creating this film and collection, we aimed to capture the first day of school as one of the big emotional periods that parents go through as their child leaves home for the first time. We wanted to connect with our customers in a unique way and be a part of this important journey with them.”
