ChannelAdvisor, the e-commerce platform provider, has introduced two service packages for clothing retailers wishing to launch on eBay’s Fashion Outlet in time for the Christmas selling season.

According to the company, these services will launch retailers onto eBay Fashion Outlet with guidance, training and tactical support to ensure success on the channel.

eBay’s Fashion Outlet enables high street brands to extend their brand reach and is an additional route for retailers to dispose of end-of-line or clearance stock. In the last 30 days, the top 10 brands on eBay’s Fashion Outlet transacted over £2.4m in sales, reports ChannelAdvisor.

ChannelAdvisor claims to be the leading third-party supplier of technology and services for retailers selling on the eBay UK Fashion Outlet, powering nearly 30% of transactions through the channel.

ChannelAdvisor offers two eBay Fashion Outlet services, Launch Plus Fashion Outlet and Managed Fashion Outlet. Both of these services are built around ChannelAdvisor’s technology platform.

  • Managed Fashion Outlet is a service that provides full management of a retailer’s presence on eBay’s Fashion Outlet. ChannelAdvisor handles data optimisation, product selection and categorisation, listing generation and order management
  • Launch Plus Fashion Outlet is a fast-track launch service in which ChannelAdvisor handles the heavy lifting involved with the initial launch onto the Fashion Outlet, then the retailer takes over the day-to-day running of the account

ChannelAdvisor’s EMEA managing director, James Scott, said: “ChannelAdvisor is widely recognised as the global standard for e-commerce and has helped a number of leading brands take advantage of eBay’s Fashion Outlet initiative throughout the past 18 months.

“Our two Fashion Outlet services will be a perfect solution for retailers who wish to get live in time for Christmas, but don’t have the internal resources or experience to do this alone.”
