The Co-operative Food is providing customers with a range of ice creams and ice lollies as part of its new summer food offering.

The convenience retailer’s range, is now in stores nationwide and is said to be a must for those who want a taste of pure indulgence, or a calorie conscious tasty treat when cooling down on the warmer and longer days.

Best for Luxury

New to the premium ice-cream range, the Truly Irresistible Limited Edition Belgian White Chocolate and Raspberry Ice Cream 500ml is made from 100% British cream with Scottish raspberry compote and Belgian chocolate pieces.

Best of British

100% British Cream, Truly Irresistible ice cream tubs are claimed to be perfect for an indulgent summer’s evening with friends. Available in Chocolate Brownie, Madagascan Vanilla and Toffee Fudge Flavour.

Best for Chocolate Lovers

For the chocolate lovers, there are indulgent ice cream lollies available. The Co-operative Chocolate Cookie Crunch Lollies (3s), with chocolate ice cream centres and chocolate sauce ripple, coated in Belgian chocolate with a cookie crumble are a must to try, the retailer claims. Alternatively, the Caramel and Honeycomb Lollies (3s) – caramel ice cream rippled with caramel sauce, coated in Belgian chocolate with honeycomb chunks – are said to be perfect for those with a sweet tooth.

The Co-operative has a range of new fruity ice lollies to choose from too.  For those looking for a low-calorie treat, the new Pink Lemonade Lollies 4s made from freshly squeezed lemons and juice from Scottish raspberries will hit the spot at just 70 calories each.

Best for Kids

The new best of both worlds Strawberry and Apple Sours (8s), features a strawberry and sour apple ice lolly with a vanilla ice cream centre. They are available at a value price of two packs for £3.00.

Best for Trendy Tastebuds

Responding to trends in the market, The Co-operative has introduced fruit yogurt splits coated with fruit sorbets including mango, strawberry, lemon and blackcurrant.

As part of The Co-operative Food commitment to quality, product improvements have been made to its existing ice cream varieties, while remaining at the same great value prices, the retailer said. Flavours have been enhanced in popular varieties such as sticky toffee fudge ice-cream and the dough has got better in the Cookie Dough ice cream.
