The Co-operative Food has added new main course products to its own-brand ready-to-cook Eat In range.
The Eat In range provides pre-prepared meat, poultry and fish main course products, plus ready-made vegetable side dishes that are easy to cook.
New main dishes include a rack of lamb with a caramelised onion, cheese, mustard and thyme breadcrumb crust, two spatchcock chicken products with spicy piri piri or tasty garlic and herb marinades, and a beef wellington made with fillet of beef and a mushroom duxelle in flaky puff pastry.
There’s also a meatloaf made with beef, onion and herbs in a tomato sauce, and Icelandic line-caught cod loins with cherry tomatoes and Parmesan shavings in a roasted pepper sauce.
Additionally, The Co-operative has introduced four new products to the Eat In chicken breast selection, all of which make quick, easy and appetising dinner á duex with an Eat In side dish or two, said the retailer.
