The UK’s No.1 cold pressed juices and smoothie brand Savsé, is introducing a new addition to its world’s first HPP protein smoothie range. New Protein Rise is the UK’s first cold-press breakfast protein smoothie, combining high quality whey, and protein rich quinoa with a selection of cold-pressed fruits to create a great tasting drink which gets your day off to the perfect start.

Paul Gurnell, head of sales, Savsé speaking about the launch says: “With over a quarter of adults eating breakfast out of the home at least once a week, this shopper mission is becoming an increasingly big opportunity for retailers. This change in shopper behaviour has also been accompanied by a switch in the type of products being consumed, with people moving away from more traditional choices into healthier and less processed options.  We therefore saw a gap in the market to introduce the UK’s first cold-pressed breakfast protein smoothie which really does get your day off to the perfect start.

“Before the launch of our protein range, the protein market was focused on extremely high protein content products, useful only to those focusing on extreme exercise. With a protein content of 10-12g of protein versus the standard 20g present in most protein shakes targeted at females, our new Protein Rise and the existing Protein Punch and Protein Smash products are great for those simply looking to lead a healthy lifestyle.”

Protein Rise is available in Waitrose stores now and will also be available to the wholesale and convenience channel from the end of May.

Protein Rise, Protein Punch and Protein Smash have an MRSP of £2.99 and are available in 6 x 250ml cases.

The entire Savsé range, including all Protein Smoothies, are made from 100% natural ingredients with absolutely no added sugar – so that your customers can live a lifestyle rooted in goodness.

The Protein range will be supported with a UK-wide PR campaign to drive awareness and sales.
