British beauty brand Crabtree & Evelyn has announced the opening of its newest retail space in Islington Townhouse, 294 Upper Street, London, N1 2TU.
The brand new store will open its doors to the public on Friday 30 November with an exciting launch weekend of live-art, continuing in-store until Sunday 2 December. Throughout this three day celebration Vic Lee – artist, illustrator and muralist extraordinaire will be front of house creating a bespoke mural to capture the heritage of Crabtree & Evelyn and landmarks from around the brands new Islington location.
Consumers are invited along to explore the stunning new Townhouse design and browse the striking display of Christmas gifts on offer, whilst watching talented Vic in action. The first 100 people to arrive each day will receive a goody bag packed with Crabtree & Evelyn treats and all visitors will be in with a chance of winning a whole host of amazing prizes.
The new space will not only act as a retail location but also as an immersive events hub, where visitors can get to know Crabtree & Evelyn, whilst the brand gets to know them in return. Visitors will get the chance to understand and purchase products, while at the same time exploring the ongoing programme of events at the venue. From early morning reiki and personal development, through art and craft classes, book clubs, beauty sessions during the day to evening sessions with talks, comedy, music and food.
The events will be co-created with and for the local community, helping to nurture local talent. These will all be focused around the theme of Exploration for Growth – with the aim of encouraging consumers to understand, explore and learn different skills and hobbies, which in turn will help self growth.
