Scott joins recently-appointed senior analytical team leader, Alpa Kotecha, who is working with the team to enhance client planning, insight and communication. Joining GI Insight from a database manager role at one of the UK’s fastest growing motor groups, Cambria Automobile, Kotecha brings a strong background in data, CRM and loyalty to the GI Insight team. She is supporting various accounts in both the B2B and B2C sectors to drive business growth.
GI Insight reports it has bolstered its analytics team with three key appointments.
Simon Scott has joined the customer insight and loyalty marketingcompany as head of client services and snalytics to manage the team in the delivery of timely, accurate data analysis and interpretation to clients.
With 15 years’ experience in analysis and marketing, Scott looks forward to expanding and developing the team’s capabilities, bringing with him a broad range of skills applied across a variety of sectors. In a marketing career that has included stints in magazine publishing and the home furnishings sector, Scott has amassed extensive experience in data analysis. Most recently he was analysis manager at outdoor advertising company JCDecaux, where he spent six years specialising inaudience measurement and campaign planning.
The team is further complemented by the recent addition of Colin Martin, who has joined as senior marketing analyst. Having worked in loyalty and financial services roles for major names including Boots, The Money Shop and Ikano Financial Services, Martin is working primarily on GI Insight’s Pets at Home account to drive customer engagement, deliver incremental revenue and gather business insight. Martin puts his substantial experience in analytics, customer loyalty and performance reporting to use in supporting efforts to apply best practice and improve efficiencies and technology.
