The deadline for entries in the 2012 FreeFrom Food Awards is fast-approaching.
Described as the industry’s only awards programme for the massively expanding freefrom food market, the cut off for entries is midnight on 12 December 2012.
The freefrom food sector is reported to have increased by 109% over the last five years and is predicted to growth a further 71% over the next five by Mintel.
According to the event organisers, the awards have already attracted a record number of new companies entering this year’s awards.
Judging for the awards takes place in early February 2013 with a shortlist published on 20 February 2013.
The winners will be announced by Antony Worrall Thompson on 16 April 2013 in central London. The event will also feature a tasting buffet of the winning products.
Entry costs £90/product (£60 for companies with three or fewer employees) and this includes one free invitation to the presentation party.
