Hercules Unit Trust (HUT) is pleased to announce that Debenhams has opened its 40,000sq ft store at Leamington Shopping Park. The new department store features a premium beauty offer, a café and the Designers at Debenhams range.
Julie Hampton, a long serving member of the Leamington Spa and Kenilworth Multiple Sclerosis Society, officially opened the store after being chosen by Debenhams as part of a local hero competition.
Amanda Hall, asset manager for British Land, said: “We are delighted to welcome such a significant anchor to the Park. Debenhams further strengthens the tenant line up and will be a fantastic draw.”
Robert Hadfield, director of property for Debenhams, said: “We were really impressed by the quality of the retailers and environment at Leamington Shopping Park. We are delighted to be opening the store before Christmas and it follows our strategy of securing the right store in the right market.”
Leamington Shopping Park is located half a mile south of the town centre, fronting the A452 and two miles north of junctions 13 and 14 of the M40.
The park is owned by Gibraltar Limited Partnership, which is a joint venture between Hercules Unit Trust (HUT) and The Crown Estate. HUT is advised by British Land and managed by Schroders.
