Doves Farm, the award-winning family-owned Wiltshire millers and bakers specialising in Organic and Free From flours and foods, has further invested in its Free From range creating two new additional pasta varieties; Maize and Rice Tortiglioni and Brown Rice Tortiglioni.
The launch of the new pastas follows its recent win at The Grocer New Product Awards 2016 for its Organic Buckwheat Penne. The new pastas will extend Doves Farm’s pasta range to 10 products, all organic, gluten free and made in Italy.
The Maize and Rice Tortiglioni and Brown Rice Tortiglioni are both made from the same ingredients as Doves Farm’s award winning penne and fusilli shapes, and both Tortiglionis are ideal for those catering for specific diets who still want to enjoy pasta. Not only free from gluten, both new products are also free from milk, peanut, egg and soya, certified by Soil Association, Coeliac UK and Kosher.
Clare Marriage, co-founder of Doves Farm, says: “We are continuing to innovate to create new products for an ever increasing number of consumers searching for good quality staples like our new pastas. We are really excited to be exclusively introducing these two new pastas to consumers attending the Allergy and Free From Show in Liverpool. It’s important to hear their opinions first hand and I’m really looking forward it.”
The two new pastas will be available on Doves Farm webshop [RRP 500g bag – £2.49] (dovesfarm.co.uk) and to consumers attending its VIP Table at the Allergy and Free From Show in Liverpool on 5-6 November. With a similar set up to the London show, Doves Farm is the main stage Cooking Zone Sponsor, offering numerous areas including the Doves Farm Kitchen, where Free From baking recipes will be demonstrated; the aforementioned VIP Table centred around their new Free From pastas; a Guest Kitchen featuring a range of chefs cooking gluten free dishes, as well as a Social Corner which will host fun activities from yoga sessions to music and product sampling.
Doves Farm offers two distinct product ranges – Organic and Free From – both milled in their own dedicated mills. The Organic range – the go-to brand for home-baking – features a range of high quality and innovative premium flours including those milled from ancient grains such as KAMUT which is a Khorasan wheat and Emmer, one of the first grains cultivated by mankind. It also offers flours milled from more traditional grains such as spelt and rye, as well as yeast and an assortment of biscuits made from its own flour. The Free From range – the go-to brand for Free From baking and food for the day – includes flours, baking essentials, pasta, breakfast cereals, cookies and flapjacks, all milled and produced in its dedicated allergen free bakery.
