Eagle Eye appoints sales and business development directors in new phase of expansion


Eagle Eye, the SaaS technology company that validates and redeems promotions in real-time,has continued its expansion with the key appointments of a new sales director and business development director to the senior team; reporting to the CRO, Abeed Janmohamed.

Eagle Eye announced the appointments of Mark Hurst and Stewart Holt following a string of high profile partnership announcements, including the recent contract awarded by supermarket giant Sainsbury’s, as the business looks to continue its expansion in the UK.

Mark Hurst

Hurst: sales role

Hurst, who takes up the position of sales director, brings with him an outstanding wealth of experience having spent 17 years working with some of the biggest names in the media marketplace, including the likes of Trinity Mirror Group, the IPC and most recently Head of Retail at News UK where he worked with Tier 1, 2 and 3 retailers, through this experience Hurst brings with him a full understanding of the brand marketplace, making him a vital addition to Eagle Eye at a time when the business is looking to expand its impressive list of client brands across the grocery, retail and hospitality industries. Mark will be using his extensive contact base and experience to focus on the development of relationships with media buying agencies, in order to amplify the number of brands that the business is engaging with as well as providing an opportunity for a centralised group agency network. This is a fresh approach for the business, which will aim to promote deals for brands and bring them onto the Eagle Eye AIR platform.

Stewart Holt

Holt: business development opportunity

Holt will join the team as business development director. Holt will be tasked with developing distribution and technology partnerships and introducing new clients onto the Eagle Eye AIR platform through his extensive list of industry contacts. Stewart has a vast amount of experience within the data solutions and digital media sector and has worked with targeted data and solutions companies such as Acxiom, and Ignition One, where he led sales teams to build revenue streams with both direct and agency clients. Holt will be driving the growth of the Eagle Eye distribution network by highlighting the importance of the network for marketers while increasing the reach available to current partner brands within the Eagle Eye AIR platform. Over five years Holt  played a vital role in establishing and growing IgnitionOne within the UK market having been the first UK employee of the web personalisation part of the business, and brings with him extensive knowledge of the sector and invaluable experience of succeeding in high growth and quick market penetration businesses.

The appointments are an important statement of intent from the rapidly growing market-leader as it looks to adapt its strategy in order to maintain its momentum and expand its reach to engage with some of the most prominent agencies in the media buying sector to reach the biggest brand names and bring them onto the Eagle Eye AIR platform.
