eatlean relaunches with next-gen cheese


eatlean, the high protein, low fat cheese, have launched the next generation of its cheese, with an exciting new formula and refreshed branding.

Following significant investment, the revised eatlean formula uses ground-breaking technology to make the cheese softer in body, creamier and an even better eat – but eatlean still contains 90% less fat and 45% more protein than full fat cheddar.

The cheese remains 100% natural, made with British cows milk (the same way as traditional cheddar) and continues to have 55% fewer calories and 80% less cholesterol.

The eatlean range is made up of 12 products including the new recipe eatlean block, eatlean spreadable and the tasty eatlean cheese bake, which is only 125 calories per ½ bake and contains less than 7g per fat (66% less than a usual standard cheddar bake). The revamped cheese comes with a modern look and feel, with the signature blue colour of the brand replacing the previous white packaging, as well as the addition of the health benefits being moved front of pack to help reinforce its credentials.
