EBS wins top award for payment innovation at Indian eRetail Show 2012


EBS, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Ogone, a specialist in online payment services, has been awarded the Best eCommerce Payment Innovation Award at the Indian eRetail Show 2012.

The Indian e-Retail awards were held to recognise the best industry experts who were part of the affluent e-retail industry. The awards created the platform for the Indian players to showcase their expertise and gain prominence in the international markets by acknowledging outstanding creativity and customer service on offer throughout India.

EBS, one of the fastest growing payment services companies in India, won the award due to its innovation within the e-retail industry. 

The company is reported to be adding 200 new merchants to its payment platform every month and has enhanced the online shopping experience by thinking creatively about the point of payment and overall look and feel of the brand. 

Judges said EBS’s seamless processing of over 50 local and international payment methods also met and exceeded the multiple payments criteria of the award selection process.

The award was given by Franchise India, Asia’s largest integrated franchise solution company, in association with Bloomberg and UTV. Franchise India is regarded by many as the leading regional authority on franchising and licensing.
