Finalists in National Business Awards 2011 announced

Finalists of the National Business Awards 2011 have been announced today. 

More than 150 of Britain’s most innovative and sustainable public and private sector businesses have been shortlisted in the awards, organised in partnership with Orange. 

Among the finalists are Debenhams, JD Wetherspoon, moneysupermarket.com, BSkyB,  Majestic Wine and Supergroup, Ovo Energy, Feather and Black, ShortList Media and HeartSine Technologies. 

Baroness Bottomley of Nettlestone, chair of judges, the National Business Awards, said: “The economic climate continues to present UK businesses with an unprecedented challenge: it is therefore particularly encouraging the entries in this year’s National Business Awards have shown no drop in quality or performance. The Awards include a category for the best online business, sponsored by WorldPay.

Finalists will now prepare to make their presentations in person before an independent, expert judging panel in September and October 2011 at the offices of Coutts & Co.
