Georgia’s Choice has expanded its gluten free range of savoury snacks with three new lines:
- Fish Cakes: line caught cod, mashed potato and parsley coated in a crispy gluten free crumb
- Mexican Bean Bake: mildly spicy, beans, sweet potato with vegetables in a crispy, gluten free crumb
- Beef Lasagne: British beef, three sheets of gluten free lasagne and a bolognaise sauce
The new lines join Chicken Bites and Chicken Grills, which are now widely available and said to be selling well nationally in the frozen cabinets of Asda and Tesco. According to the company, it was the success of these products and feedback from consumers wanting new savoury lines, which led to the development of three new additions.
The new products aim to give gluten intolerants and avoiders a much wider choice of the family favourites that have long been taken for granted by mainstream eaters, said Georgia’s Choice.
They will be available in Asda from 13 May 2013.
Founder Gary Stiles said: “We are really proud of what we have created. I know from personal experience how difficult it is sometimes for families to cope with these intolerances. We want to help people out with quick, easy solutions that don’t compromise on quality or taste.”
To coincide with the launch of these new lines, the brand has undergone a redesign of its packaging with a new logo, and simpler, bolder graphics and colour coding to facilitate easier consumer recognition of its Chicken, Beef, Fish and Vegetarian dishes.
