Fresh soup and pasta sauce brand Glorious!, has picked up a Gold Award at The Grocer Food & Drink Awards for its Diablo Sundried Tomato & Chilli pasta sauce, beating brands like Dolmio and Discovery in the cooking sauces/condiment category.
The brand also took home a Silver Award for its Spanish Tomato & Chorizo soup in the soup category.
The Awards recognise products for their taste, content, packaging, shelf standout, brand impact, labeling and value for money and were held in London on 9 February 2011.
The Diablo Sundried Tomato & Chilli sauce, which was launched in May 2010, alongside a new range of Glorious! soups and pasta sauces, is available in Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons nationwide plus convenience outlets including Budgens, Booths and Nisa.
The sauce range comprises Diablo Sundried Tomato & Chilli Sauce, Big Easy Chilli Cream Sauce and New York Alfredo Sauce.
