H&M to open new flagship store in Glasgow

H&M is proud to announce the opening of a brand new flagship store located in Glasgow.

Covering a floor space in excess of 4,600sq metres, 185 Buchanan Street will open its doors to customers at 11am on Thursday 17 August.

With the full spectrum of H&M fashion concepts available – Ladies, Divided, Mens and Kids – the new store will provide customers with great quality fashion, at affordable prices, made in a sustainable way.

The flagship will also showcase the brands latest Home concept located on the ground floor with its own dedicated entrance. In celebration of the launch, customers will be treated to an array of exclusive activities and offers on opening day (Thursday 17 August) beginning with a performance from New York Brass Band at 10am.

Doors will then open at 11am upon which, the first 500 customers in the queue will receive an exclusive goodie bag and a 25% discount wristband which can be redeemed against a single purchase that day. Shoppers spending over £30, can look forward to complimentary, in-store manicures from Naf Salon nail artists, as well as access to a monogramming station for bespoke garment personalisation.

H&M has also partnered with Glasgow based fashion and travel blogger Amy Bell @Little_Magpie1 who has expertly curated a selection of her favourite pieces for customers to peruse in store.

Founded in Sweden in 1947, H&M opened its first UK store in 1976. Forty years later, the UK and Ireland portfolio has grown to include in excess of 260 stores.
