Holland & Barrett chooses Lexmark Publishing Platform to enhance customer shopping experience


Lexmark has announced that Holland & Barrett, Europe’s leading retailer of vitamins, minerals and herbal supplements, has chosen its Publishing Platform for Retail to provide consumers with an enhanced in-store shopping experience.

The Lexmark Publishing Platform for Retail will enable Holland & Barrett to communicate enhanced product information at the shelf-edge via point of sale signs and shelf edge labels that can be used throughout its retail network, to turn browsers into shoppers.

By managing all content from a central hub and streamlining operational processes through the new platform, Lexmark will make it possible for Holland & Barrett to more efficiently tailor content on a store-by-store basis. The system provides the retailer with a comprehensive toolset with which to manage every step of the retail signage process, from design to distribution, in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

This industry-leading Lexmark solution simplifies the signage process for retailers by using a single system to produce volumes of shelf-ready output for in-store sign printing. The system can also be used for central print, electronic shelf labels and digital displays. Each of these output types is tailored to the specific needs and requirements of an individual retail outlet.
