Holland’s Pies has launched two chicken pies into its range of chilled individually wrapped pies. Produced in Lancashire for over 160 years, Holland’s claims to be one of the North West’s best-loved pie makers.
The new creamy Chicken & Mushroom and Chicken & Ham pies are innovative additions to its range of delicious pies, puddings and pastries, the company said.
With the savoury pie market reporting chicken flavoured pies as the second most popular flavour in the market, recording a 9.2% YOY value growth and a volume growth of 2.2%, it’s only fitting Holland’s should add to its offering with a Creamy Chicken & Mushroom and a Chicken & Ham pie.
Launching in September 2012, the new pie flavours will be available for purchase in Asda and Tesco stores.
Holland’s Creamy Chicken & Mushroom pie (RSP £0.99) is made with chicken breast and button mushrooms in a sauce seasoned with black pepper and encased in Holland’sshort crust pastry.
Holland’s Chicken & Ham pie (RSP £1.29) is made with chicken breast and ham hock in a creamy sauce, seasoned with mustard seed and black pepper and encased in Holland’s short crust pastry.
