TanOrganic, the Irish natural and organic self-tanning brand has announced its recent listing into 200 of the top Boots store in the UK. This is a fantastic business development from the Irish brand and its founder Noelle O’Connor, who has taken TanOrganic from its small Irish roots to become a successful, international company, selling in three continents.

The brand celebrated its Boots listings with a flamboyant London event on Thursday 13 August, which saw TanOrganic models in bikinis parading around central London, accompanied a professional dance crew and the world’s largest bottle of self-tan, measuring 20 foot, mounted on a custom built trike. The event also saw the largest ever giveaway of free tan globally, with over 5,000 bottles distributed.

TanOrganic recently won the Enterprise Ireland’s High Fliers Innovation award, proving that entrepreneurial prowess and hard work can go a long way. It has also just been accepted by Seedrs who oversee equity crowdfunding, ensuring businesses have the best opportunities for success. This is the first cosmetic brand ever accepted by Seedrs, which is testament to the growth potential of the brand.

Other recent award wins for the brand include:

  • Winner of Best Tan on the ITV This Morning Show
  • International Natural Health Magazine Beauty Awards – Winner of the fake tan category
  • Reveal Bronze Beautiful Awards – Winner of the green queens category
  • Winner of the Ultimate Natural Beauty Bible Award and first ever self-tan listed in this prestigious publication.

Noelle and her team have worked hard to secure listings in some of the top retailers in the UK and Ireland, including Waitrose, Superdrug.com, Holland & Barrett and now Boots UK.

O’Connor said: “I am ecstatic about our recent listing into 200 Boots UK stores. Not only is this a fantastic development for TanOrganic, but it will also create revenue and jobs.”

Ben Sears, chief marketing officer of Seedrs, said: “We’re really excited that an established brand like TanOrganic sees opportunity and value in inviting their customers, partners and friends to help be a part of their growth via Seedrs.”

Lily Child, beauty innovation buying manager of Boots UK, said: “We are so excited to be launching TanOrganic from #BeautyFinds in Boots. Beauty Finds brings our customers the latest in product innovation. TanOrganic has some amazing natural products, that don’t leave that biscuit-y fake tan smell.”
