John Smedley has made the decision to temporarily close its three London stores with immediate effect. As COVID-19 spreads in the UK making the responsible decision is paramount to help protect its community and employees.

The stores affected include Jermyn Street, Brook Street, and New Cavendish Street.

As the situation is ongoing the decision to re-open the stores will be reassessed daily. Therefore, at this time the stores are closed immediately and until further notice.

Johnsmedley.com will remain open and acting as business as usual, although we apologise in advance of delays in receiving orders.

Our online customer services team are ready to help with any enquiries and our digital team remain in place to engage with the John Smedley community via its social channels.

Announcements via the brand’s social platforms and email communications will follow as soon as the stores are able to safely re-open.

Ian Maclean, managing director of John Smedley said: “The decision to close our London stores has been difficult to make however, we must put the health of our employees, customers, and the public before anything else. We look forward to resuming normal business as soon as possible’
