Mark Smith has joined the retail investment team at Knight Frank as associate partner.
He was previously at CBRE and has 10 years of experience within the retail valuation development and investment arena, having specialised in the last six years within the shopping centre sector.
Smith’s most recent activity has included the sale of Victoria Quarter in Leeds, the sale of The Mall, Norwich and the acquisition of a 50% shareholding in Eden Walk, Kingston.
His focus will be to continue to concentrate on the shopping centres within the UK, including strategic advisory, buying and selling. His client base includes the likes of PruPim, Henderson, Aviva, Grosvenor and Capital & Regional.
He will be reporting to Bruce Nutman, partner and head of retail investment.
