Unibail-Rodamco, Europe’s leading listed commercial property company, announced today that its new shopping centre Mall of Scandinavia has signed the first Swedish LEGO store, as well as Tesla, the premium US electric car brand and Nespresso, the world’s leading coffee brand. These three lettings will reinforce the retail offer available at the 101,000sq m (1,090,000sq ft) mall, set to open in Stockholm on 12 November 2015.
LEGO, which was recently recognized as one of the world’s top 100 most valuable brands, will be taking 300 sqm (3,230 sqft) at Mall of Scandinavia to open its first store in Sweden.Young Customers will be able to buy the Danish toymaker’s famous figurines but also aquire exclusive sets only available at Mall of Scandinavia. The new store will have the popular ‘Pick-a-brick’ wall, a success amongst families which can purchase individual bricks. LEGO at Mall of Scandinavia will mark the brand’s 35th store in Europe.
Tesla has also chosen Mall of Scandinavia for its second store in Unibail-Rodamco’s Swedish portfolio. The 240 sqm (2,580 sqft) Tesla store will showcase the brand’s latest ground breaking electric vehicules, including the latest supercar P90D.
“Unlike most car dealers, our Tesla stores are developed especially for places where people shop. There is no need for our customers to drive to an industrial area outside the city to visit a Tesla store. Mall of Scandinavia is the perfect fit for us, it offers an innovative shopping experience, which is in line with our brand,” said Esben Pedersen, communications manager Scandinavia at Tesla Motors.
Nespresso, the leading brand in coffee machines and premium coffee capsules, will be taking approx. 85sq m (915sq ft) at Mall of Scandinavia. The brand will test a brand new concept, with elaborate customer services in a more confined space. Coffee aficionados will be able to sample their favourite capsules in a dedicated ‘tasting zone’ as well as buy the latest coffee machines and accessories. The store will also provide a ‘Pick-up’ service for customers wishing to pre-order and collect their package directly at the centre.

Other international brands recently signed at Mall of Scandinavia will open their first Swedish stores such as the British health food chain Holland & Barrett and the Finish brand Reima, specialised in quality waterproof clothing for kids.
Mall of Scandinavia will open its doors to the public on November 12 at 8.00pm.
