E-commerce software solutions supplier, e2x, has won two of five awards presented at the Oracle Web Commerce Customer-Partner Conference in Lisbon. The company was named ATG Specialist Partner of the Year 2011 and awarded ATG Implementation of the Year 2011 for its work with toy manufacturer Lego.

The ATG Specialist Partner of the Year award recognises e2x for its long standing commitment to delivering sustainable e-commerce software projects with rigorous development processes, quicker ROI and lower total cost of ownership.

The award further recognises e2x’s excellence in implementing Oracle ATG’s world class e-commerce platform. The company said it adopts an omni-channel approach covering the entire customer experience, from brick and mortar to mobile devices, empowering marketing teams to drive sales in international markets.

The award-winning Lego project saw e2x completely re-platform a .NET system to ATG. The implementation was recognised for its functionality, innovation, usability and overall contribution to Lego’s global business. The judges also commended the architectural design and technical implementation of the project.

James Spalding, managing director at e2x, said: “Winning these awards is recognition of the standards we build into every engagement. In today’s retail environment our clients must provide an online shopping experience that runs smoothly on all channels, in all countries. Getting this functionality right is fundamental to the success of their e-commerce business. We pride ourselves on providing a robust consulting, implementation and delivery process to our clients, which we have honed over the past 10 years.”
