Levi’s expands presence in Scotland at Hammerson’s Silverburn centre

Hammerson announces that iconic denim brand, Levi’s, will be launching this autumn, at Silverburn shopping centre, Glasgow.

Founded in 1853, Levi Strauss & Co. is one of the world’s largest apparel companies and a global leader in jeans with 500 stores, and a presence in 110 countries worldwide.

Its 389sq m store  at Silverburn will be the brand’s fourth in Scotland. Adjacent to Superdry and opposite Topshop, Levi’s was designed by an in house team and will  features men’s and women’s ranges plus a selection of accessories.

Iain Mitchell, UK commercial director at Hammerson, said: “Levi’s is a fantantastic and iconic brand to welcome to Silverburn and one that perfectly complements our already strong retail line up. By contiunually attracting new global retailers to the centre, it ensures we maintain our position as the regions number one retail and leisure destination.”

This news follows the first anniversary last month of Silverburn’s £20m leisure extension which includes 14 screen cinema with big brands such as Thaikhun, Carluccio’s, Chimichanga, Cosmo, Zizzi, TGI Friday’s, Five Guys, handmade burger Co., Pizza Hut and Nando’s.
