This May sees the third instalment of Made for Drink’s tasty snacking trilogy, Mangalitza Salami Chips, an exceptional Hungarian cured meat snack made from the rare breed Mangalitza pig that pairs perfectly with a chilled, fruity pilsner. Sourcing the perfect salami was no easy task and resulted in a meaningful, long-term collaboration with celebrated fine ingredient epicureans, Unearthed.
Made for Drink’s Salami Chips will sit proudly on the shelf alongside the fledgling Berkshire business’s flagship Duck Fritons (IPA) and Chorizo Thins (Rjoca).
Making its Waitrose debut this month (May 18) (Unearthed Deli Concession – Richmond), Made for Drink will soon be extending its Waitrose presence (May 18) across a significant cross-section of the upmarket supermarket’s estate.
Backed by the government’s Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS), Made for Drink made its debut at the star-studded 2017 Observer Food Monthly awards, (within the goodie bags) where it instantly caught the imagination of Fortnum & Mason and the equally illustrious Rick Stein & Fat Duck Groups.
