British Land, joint owner of Meadowhall, has announced that Michael Kors’ new 2,160sq ft regional flagship store has opened at Meadowhall, Yorkshire’s premier shopping destination.

Situated on the upper High Street adjacent to House of Fraser, the new store stocks the brand’s full range of accessories from MICHAEL Michael Kors, including handbags and small leather goods. The boutique store also includes watches, jewelery, footwear and eyewear as well as a selection of the brand’s fragrances.

The brand’s in-house team designed the store environment to reflect the label’s sophisticated, jet-set aesthetic. A luxurious, modern ambience, along with a clean, neutral palette, combine to create a unique and inviting customer experience.

Richard Crowther, asset manager for British Land, said: “Michael Kors is a fantastic addition to Meadowhall’s fashion line-up.  Combined with the strength of House of Fraser and the mix of premium brands on Park Lane, Meadowhall has a fashion offer that is unrivalled in the region.  This letting also highlights the strength of demand for Meadowhall from some of the best-known fashion brands in the world.”

Michael Kors is the latest in a series of leading retailers to open at Meadowhall, following Diesel, Kiko Milano and Goldsmiths all making their debut in the last few months.

Meadowhall reports it has enjoyed a very strong start to 2016, with work starting on the £60m refurbishment of the centre.  Conducted in a series of phases, Meadowhall’s transformation will be completed by the end of 2017.
