New online fashion label, digdeep, launches with BT web site

Digdeep, a new steetwear clothing brand for men, has launched its website.

Set up on 30 March, digdeep claims to take its inspiration from sporting legends and famous sporting moments. The web site features features digdeep’s collection of t-shirts, sweats, jeans, jackets, active wear and accessories and the brand’s ambassadors including England world cup goalkeeper Joe Hart, and ECB cricketer of the year, Graeme Swann.

The site has been developed by BT’s retail specialist e-commerce division, BT Fresca. All the merchandise will be sold exclusively through the site.

BT Fresca will also provide digdeep with online marketing services.

John Postlethwaite, digdeep’s founder, said: “Our website will effectively be our only point of sale and hence it’s a critical investment for us. It is clear that BT Fresca has dug deep to deliver a site with the proven stability that we require.

“Our company philosophy has the ethos of giving 100%, running all the way through from our website, product development to distribution. Everything about our business shows that we try to dig a little deeper to provide our customers with the added value that they deserve.”

The BT Fresca platform allows customers to register and enjoy a personalised shopping experience. BT Fresca also provides e-mail marketing and will be launching iPhone and Facebook applications for digdeep to show its clothing and accessories catalogue.
