Poetic License launches new look for ‘Picnic Gin’ ready for Wimbledon

The independent small batch distillery based in the North East of England unveils a new look for their popular ‘Picnic Gin’ this week.

A seasonal summer favourite, Picnic Gin is a beautifully sweet gin, creamy in texture and taste with a strong fruity nose that combines juniper with strawberries and cream. Grace Noon, Poetic License Marketing Manager commented on the new design: “We wanted to evolve the packaging to reflect the unique summer gin drinking occasion that Picnic Gin offers. The new decoration is bright, gives great standout with colours that amplify the strawberries and cream flavours”.

The new bottles launched exclusively into selected Greene King pubs for the month of July, promoting the Wimbledon serve of Picnic Gin and Elderflower Greene King platforms.

Calum Cameron, Category Manager Spirits, Greene King said: “We’re really excited to support this launch which will add to the extensive collection of premium gins we have on offer. The new bottles will certainly stand out behind the bar. Innovative flavours are becoming increasingly popular and present a big opportunity for gin growth.”

New look Picnic Gin will be available to the rest of the trade from August.
