International bakery, patisserie and chocolate ingredients expert, Puratos UK, is launching three innovative new baking mixes; Tegral Brioche, Tegral Cornbread and O-tentic Tutto Pugliese. Designed with bakers in mind, the aim of the mixes is to enable both high street and small industrial bakers to personalise the breads they offer their customers, enabling them to simply and easily create multiple on-trend bread varieties.
The three new products are all high quality 100% mixes, offering ease, convenience and authenticity for all bakers looking to add to its existing range. Developed by the Puratos innovation team, the new mixes are a response to increased consumer awareness of, and demand for, global foods with provenance.
The Puratos Tegral Brioche is a simple, easy to use mix that enables bakers to create delicious and authentic brioche that is both lower in fat than traditional brioche thanks to the use of Puraslim, whilst maintaining a traditional buttery taste, due to the use of Sapore natural sourdoughs. Already a proven success in France, the brioche can be combined with an American influence for the ultimate burger bun or hot dog roll consumers will love.
The Puratos Tegral Cornbread is an American style cornbread. With American trends riding high in the UK, Puratos’ cornbread has been adapted for the UK consumer to create a more “bread like” result, offering the sweetness of cornbread with added corn grains for superb texture.
The O-tentic Tutto Pugliese mix has an authentic heritage and a strong provenance. The mix offers the simplest way to make this classic bread that originates from Altamura in Southern Italy, renowned for producing some of the tastiest breads in the world. O-tentic Tutto Pugliese is made exclusively from a fine version of the hard wheat semolina, obtained by mixing the varieties of wheat cultivated on the highlands of Apulia and Basilicata. The mix offers a unique combination of certified flour and sourdough that is remarkably easy to use: just add water and… tutto a posto!
