RBTE, the retail solutions show, claims it is pulling out all the stops for its retail visitors with the newly launched eCommerce Bootcamps.
Attendees to these highly practical workshop sessions for retailers will be provided with hands on advice on every key element of e-commerce, RBTE said. Delegates will be able to learn about a subject and then be able to go away and implement what they’ve learnt.
The sessions are designed to inspire and delegates will go back to the office ready to invigorate their colleagues and provide them with valuable insights and a practical plan of action, claim the event organisers. The programme has been constructed with the guidance of the e-commerce experts from the RBTE steering committee.
Each session in the bootcamp will be led by industry experts who know the ins and outs of their specialist subject, sharing years of knowledge in one comprehensive session, so that attendees can avoid the pitfalls and reap the benefit of their extensive expertise.
The sessions will kick off with SLI Systems who will tackle Customer attraction and retention – tactics and advice on how to attract visitors to your site, keep them there and turn browsers into buyers.
Celtech will reveal all on Real time stock and fulfilment – how to ensure product is available for customers at the point of order and make sure the order can be fulfilled, avoiding disappointment.
Your omni-channel customer platform – the cross channel experience will be covered by eGain, while TrustPilot will take on Social – how to effectively use social media to build an audience and convert them to sales.
Red Technology will be leading a session on Interactive marketing and personalisation – love your customer without freaking them out! From email marketing to SMS, followed by NetSuite, who will reveal all on Global expansion – what you need to know to take your business international and how you can do it.
Data – customer data is coming at you from every angle. How can you manage and exploit your data effectively is the session covered by Clear Returns, and the programme will be rounded up by VeriFone with Checkout and payment – smooth transactions and ensuring customers trust your website! And how to reduce basket abandonment.
The eCommerce Bootcamp is free for retailers to attend, although pre-registration is required http://www.retailbusinesstechnologyexpo.com/index.php/education-2014/ecommerce-bootcamp
