The award-winning Real Good Ketchup brand has extended its range to include a 685g Big Squeezy, targetting the family market and larger ketchup user.

The new 685g Big Squeezy Tomato Ketchup is the perfect choice for customers looking to replace big brand high sugar and salt ketchups with something tasty, healthy and good value at just £2.99 a bottle.

Available from 9th March on Ocado, the new easy-serve larger BPA-free bottle is 100% recyclable, 100% natural, with no added sugar and contains just 5.7g of natural sugar and 0.32g salt and with over 75% less sugar and salt than regular ketchups.

The Hampshire-based brand plans to roll out the new Big Squeezy across retail this year and into foodservice to join its other table top products and catering packs. It is targeting those customers prioritising good value and health, who are looking to purchase natural and sustainable alternatives to mainstream brands, without compromise on taste.

“We are very pleased to be launching the Big Squeezy into Ocado,” explains Elizabeth Jones, founder of Real Good Ketchup. “This new larger size has been created in response to the demand for a larger format that offers the health credentials and good value that our customers expect.”

The brand has gone down the plant-based ingredient route, avoiding artificial sweeteners and synthetic ingredients. The award-Winning ketchup contains only naturally-occurring sugars, is 14 listed allergens-free, made with 100% natural ingredients, vegan-friendly and suitable for healthy eating plans and special diets, including diabetes type 2.

As a sustainable food business, Real Good Ketchup has chosen BPA free, 100% recyclable squeezy packaging that finds its second life in long-term building materials and, has more recently, been trialled in pot holes.

“Whilst using recycled food grade material for the bottle would be admirable, the challenge is what happens after its second use. There is a limit as to how many times a recycled bottle can go back into the food chain, then where does it go? Our bottles find a new long life in building materials, pipes and the new pot holes trials,” adds Elizabeth.

Real Good Ketchup’s Big Squeezy will be available from Ocado in March, RRP £2.99.

Real Good Ketchup was the first no added sugar and reduced salt ketchup to market in the UK. Its products are available in Ocado, Whole Foods Market and The Co-Op. For more information on Real Good Ketchup visit www.realgoodketchup.com
