Legend, the organisation behind RBTE and Essential Retail, has announced it is launching an educational and personalised business meetings event, Retail Business Exchange.
On 12-13 November 2014 at the Runnymede on Thames Hotel, a limited number of handpicked and exclusively invited retailers will come to network and get off the treadmill in an event designed to inspire and invigorate.
As well as numerous networking opportunities with fellow senior retailers, there will be an education programme featuring leading retail CEO’s, (invited by Legend board member Stephen Robertson).
The opening keynote presentation will be delivered by Sir Geoff Mulcahy, who spent 20 years as CEO of Kingfisher. This keynote presentation from such a respected retailer will set the tone for an inspirational and thought provoking event, the organisers claims. The closing keynote will be from Jacqueline Gold, chief executive of Ann Summers and Knickerbox who will round the event off with a talk about leadership and what to look for in aspiring retail leaders.
In addition to the conference programme, there will be practical workshops, business matching with carefully selected solution providers, great entertainment and hospitality, providing the ultimate retail retreat, Legend said.
