Retail Times is taking part in a Transport for London (TfL) workshop on 9 February 2012, designed to help the retail trade manage transport during the Olympic Games.
The session is also designed to show how retailers can plan ahead to maximise the opportunities around the Olympics.
Confirmed retailers include Three Mobile, Molton Brown, Arcadia, Adidas, Urban Outfitter, JD Sport, Marks & Spencer, Blacks Leisure Group and House of Fraser.
The workshop is aimed at helping large, multi-site businesses located in the 2012 transport hotspot areas, plan ahead to minimise transport disruption.
In particular the free travel advice will cover how retailers can ensure their staff, customers and suppliers can get around and make and receive important deliveries during the Games.
The workshop will be held at Canary Wharf, London, on 9 February from 1.00pm- 4.30pm. To sign up for the 9 February 2012 workshop, businesses should email: firstname.lastname@example.org
TfL is also hosting other location specific (as opposed to retail specific) workshops. Further information on location specific workshops can be found at: www.london2012.com/traveladviceforbusiness
