Website development and hosting company, Mr Site, is launching a website-building package, which it claims will allow retailers to create an e-commerce shop to rival sites like John Lewis and ASOS but for a fraction of the price.
The Storefront package is said to be is easy-to-use, jargon-free and is available in three different package levels – Seller (from £15 a month), Pro Seller (from £25 a month) and Pro-Seller Plus (from £35 a month); all starting with a free 14-day-trial.
Mr Site’s CEO, Clifford McDowell, said: “Over the next two years, the online retail sector in the UK is forecast to have a value of over $58.9bn, the equivalent to £37.3bn, and we’re determined to help SMEs in Britain get a slice of the pie.”
The company said small retailers using Storefront have already reported an improvement in their sales.
Charlotte Russell, owner of www.atelier-rousseau.com, said: “My online sales have already increased by 50% since upgrading my website to Storefront a month ago. Setting up the site took no time at all and it was so easy to make it look professional – and I love that I can now offer discounts and promotional codes just like the big online shops. It really has made a huge difference to my business.”
According to Mr Site, retailers who have built a Storefront website have rated the professional, contemporary feel of the templates, created by leading website designers for e-commerce.
They particularly enjoy being able to add advanced selling features – such as wishlists, ‘recently added products’ and customer reviews – quickly and easily to their websites with drag-and-drop technology, said the company.
Mr Site said it also provides retailers with 24-hour online, phone and email support.
