Rieves Lotteries, a leading UK retail charity scratchcard specialist, is today delighted to announce a new partnership with Poundland, which is looking to raise £150,000 for breast cancer research charity Breast Cancer Campaign over the next few months. The Rieves Lotteries scratchcards which donate to this cause will be available in Poundland from March onwards.
Steve Lyons, director of Rieves Lotteries, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Poundland to raise money for a great charity like Breast Cancer Campaign. These games will appeal to the existing Poundland players and hopefully many more who relate to this worthy cause. Our first campaign with Poundland raised over £300,000 for the Royal British Legion in just over six months, so we’ve high hopes for this latest campaign.”
Richard Lancaster, trading director at Poundland, said: “Cancer is a disease that will affect the majority of us at some point in our lives, and therefore we’re pleased to be partnering with Rieves to help raise money to fund vital research. With a jackpot prize of £5,000, we are confident our customers will get behind the charity activity to show their support and raise money for this important cause.”
Kiran Gupta, corporate partnerships manager at Breast Cancer Campaign, said: “We are delighted to be working with Rieves Lotteries and Poundland on this new campaign. In the last twenty years, we have made great progress in overcoming breast cancer, but there is still so much more to do. This new campaign will help us to fund more life-saving research to really make a difference to those affected by the disease.”
