Bullring has today announced that Russell & Bromley, the luxury British footwear and handbag retailer, has opened a new 260sq m store at the centre, the brand’s first in Birmingham.
Still owned by the Bromley family, Russell & Bromley prides itself on exceptional quality and experienced staff in order to deliver the highest standards in product and trend knowledge. The new store offers accessible luxury to the fast-paced city with its collection of exclusive hand crafted Italian-made products. The opening complements the dynamic retail mix at the Bullring, with the authentic British brand trading alongside other high-end brands, Diesel and Swarovski.
Michaela Moore, general manager, Bullring & Grand Central, commented: “Russell & Bromley is a great addition to the aspirational retail line-up at Bullring. The debut in Birmingham marks an important first for Bullring and will soon be joined by a new Coach store later this month, another brand first for the city. These openings cement the centre’s position as the leading regional retail and leisure destination, and are reflective of both Bullring and the city’s ever-growing appeal.”
Russell & Bromley added: “We are delighted to open our latest store in the iconic Bullring Birmingham location. Bringing luxury shoes and accessories to this exciting city, the store will stock exclusive and hand crafted Italian made Russell & Bromley products for men, women and children.”
This news follows the recent opening of Volkswagen’s first retail store in the UK, located on the lower mall adjacent to Selfridges & CO. In the last 12 months, Bullring has also welcomed regional debuts for Ben Sherman, T2, New Look Men and Smashbox. Bullring welcomes an annual footfall of over 36 million, with retailers performing on average 55% ahead of their national averages.
