Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose are stocking Dizolve laundry detergent sheets, which launched to UK consumers at the Ideal Home Show earlier this year.
Interest in the non-bio detergent sheets is continuing to grow, demonstrating the growing appeal for this new way to wash laundry, the company claims. Many consumers, through the product’s Facebook and Twitter sites, have called for sales of the product in their local stores and these new listings will see the product available more freely.
The Fresh Linen 20 packs are on sale in 250 Morrisons stores across the UK. Sainsbury’s is also selling the Fresh Linen 20 packs in 200 of its stores. Waitrose is selling both Fresh Linen and Lavender 20 packs in 120 stores and via its website.
Lawrence Boon, managing director, Dizolve, said: “It’s fantastic to see Dizolve on the shelves of such well known and respected UK supermarkets. It has been hugely successful in its launch in Canada and France and with listings in major UK retailers it looks set to revolutionise the way consumers in the UK do their laundry.”
Nichola Joyce, Waitrose laundry buyer, said: ‘We are really excited to be launching this new innovative format of laundry detergent. It’s very convenient to store at home and use and really works.”
Dizolve’s pre-measured, non-bio sheets are fully bio-degradable, completely dissolving during hot or cold washing cycles. At just 17cm high and 18cm wide they take up to 480% less room on the shelf than ordinary detergents, making them a real space saver for stockists, the company says.
Available in Fresh Linen or Lavender scents, Dizolve is easy to use with no mess, is easy to carry and store with minimal packaging, and the sheets and packing are eco-friendly.
