Sales at online marketplaces soar on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, ChannelAdvisor reports

ChannelAdvisor has tracked sales at all the leading online marketplaces over Thanksgiving and Black Friday and compared spend with last year. The results are as follows

Thanksgiving, Thursday, 27 November:

  • Google Shopping is up 58% from the same time last year
  • Amazon is up 17% from the same time last year
  • eBay is up 7% from the same time last year
  • CSE is up 93%
  • Paid search is down -6.00%

Black Friday, 28 November:

  • CSE –  up 101%
  • Google Shopping –  up 9%
  • Amazon – up 77%
  • eBay – up 76%
  • Search-Paid –  up 40%
