British handmade chocolate brand, Seed and Bean, has today announced its new listing with retailer, John Lewis, which will see the brand on shelf in its prestigious Oxford Street Food Hall, just in time for Christmas.
From early December four of the brand’s adventurously flavoured, Fairtrade and vegan-certified bars including Coconut & Raspberry, Cornish Sea Salt, Mandarin & Ginger and Expresso, will be available to buy in an 85g format for £2.69.
To celebrate the launch in store, Seed and Bean will be offering consumers the chance to taste the delicious bars and discover their favourite flavour at in-store sampling sessions.
Owner, Oliver Shorts, commented: “We’re thrilled to see a selection of Seed and Bean’s organic chocolate bars going on shelf in John Lewis in time for Christmas. Retailers are increasingly looking for brands with eco-credentials to meet the needs of the growing number of consumers calling for products which fit in with a more sustainable and healthy lifestyle. Our bars not only meet an impressive ethical standard but they taste great too!”
Increased demand for better-for-you, better-for-the-planet products has placed organic chocolate firmly back in the spotlight. Seed and Bean are at the forefront of this trend, as each of the brand’s luxurious bars boast 100% green credentials. Crafted with cocoa beans from some of the world’s finest Fairtrade cocoa producing regions, each bar is Soil Association Organic and has a fully recyclable and compostable packaging.
